​Welcome to the virtual home of SPECS (Sherre Padgett Education Consulting Services). Sherre Padgett Education Consulting Services (SPECS), established in 2010, is a multi-dimensional educational services company that serves the needs of the community by utilizing our experience and perspective to empower success for our clients. Our services include academic tutoring (Grades K-12 and college-level), college and career preparation, an ACT Prep Intensive Course for pre-college students, a GRE Prep Course for pre-graduate school students, and out-of-school time (afterschool and summer) programs, including SPECS Whiz Kids, Afterschool Homework Help, and SPECS Summer Prep Academy. We also empower pre-elementary students to excel in school in SPECS Pre-K Academy. Furthermore, we provide staff development and training services for professionals and paraprofessionals. Simply put, empowering our clients for success is what we love to do!

SPECS founder, Sherre Padgett, is a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana (B.S. biology / pre-med with a minor in chemistry), University of Alabama at Birmingham (M.A. in biology education), Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia, (Ed.S. in Educational Leadership), and is currently pursuing an Ed.D. (Doctor of Education) in Educational Leadership at Liberty University. She taught secondary biology courses for eight years and subsequently worked in recruitment and academic support for Auburn University’s College of Sciences and Mathematics. She has consulted for many clients, including Tuskegee University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health, Wall Street 21st Century Community Learning Center, Ready for College, Inc., AAMEN College Prep Program, The LITE Tutoring Program, and continues to utilize her experience and perspective to empower success for her clients.
